Expo announced a new integration with Bolt, an AI-powered no-code tool that allows users to build React Native apps for iOS and Android directly in the browser. Professionals and beginners alike can now generate working mobile apps in real time by describing their ideas. The generated code can then be customized and deployed using Expo’s tools, opening app development to a wider audience.
This integration is very useful for prototyping MVPs or testing new ideas during team and client meetings. To get started, visit Bolt.new, select the Expo starter template, and describe the app you want to build.
Looking ahead, the Expo team plans to integrate Expo Application Services (EAS) into Bolt, allowing users to build, submit, and deploy apps seamlessly from within the platform.
