Vercel Makes Hosting More Affordable

Recently Vercel has taken multiple steps to keep the costs of hosting on its platform affordable for websites and apps.

The in-function concurrency entered public beta in October. It promises to increase efficiency by 20%-50%, reducing gigabyte-hours and lowering costs. Now a single function instance can handle multiple invocations concurrently, which improves resource utilization.

The prices of domains on Vercel are also lower by up to 50%. It’s excellent news for users planning to purchase the newly added .ai domains. Following this, the pricing of Monitoring has been reduced to $1.20 per million events.

At the end of December, Vercel made Vercel Remote Cache, which speeds up developer and CI workflows by storing build outputs and logs for your team’s Turborepo or Nx tasks, free for all hosting plans.

Introducing these changes positions Vercel as a great choice for developers and businesses planning to make their hosting cost-effective.
